About Me: This picture does say a lot about me: One with nature, on a trek, with my Canon 400D and a guitar close by (nope, you can’t see it, but it’s close by)

About my Hobbies:
Music – I consider myself a ’semi-professional’ musician…I gigĀ on keyboard or bass guitar.
Music has been around since I was a kid, and is going to continue to nurture me.
Photography: Photography became a passion, thanks to a buddy who mentioned what a digital SLR is. An expensive hobby, which is going to make my grandkids go ‘Pa’s pics are the best!’
Trekking: So here’s the deal…every Sunday morning, you have a few people who get up at 5:30 in the morning and go trekking in some part of Bombay or the vicinity. That’s right, 5:30 on a Sunday morning. I used to shake my head and wonder. Until after a diwali vacation a few seasons back, where I was feeling so relaxed simply by being in a place where you don’t hear any car horns, where there are no Pepsi ads. So I joined them. And now, I’m one of them.

Cal,
Great job with the blog! I had no idea your trip was so extensive. And am glad to hear you’re trekking regularly these days. Monsoons are the best, as long as you avoid South India which is full of leeches in the rainy weather!
Cheers and I’ll see you in December.
Gillian
Thanks! This is new ground for me, but glad that it’s initial look is coming out good. Incidently, i can’t wait to do a S. India trip
